Abstract
This thesis documents the research and design of three types of synthetic aperture radar jammers: broadband noise, narrowband, and coherent repeater jammers. This thesis includes the generation of synthetic SAR data and the implementation of a SAR signal processor to create a SAR image. The jammer research and implementation includes discussion on the jammer transmit signals, required power levels, and the resulting effects on the SAR image. This thesis also discusses jammer geometry, jammer knowledge of the victim SAR system, and timing of the jammer transmit signal.
