Files
Description
The Reverend Malcolm Marler talks about the establishment of AIDS Care Teams (also called AIDS Support Teams) and the training associated with it in the mid-1990s in Birmingham, Alabama. This was an expansion of his counseling work at the 1917 AIDS Clinic. He also talks about how personalization and education were key to overcoming the stigma associated with HIV/AIDS.
